Mohamed “Hakeem” Hakim, DBA, MBA
Co-Founder and CEO
Prior to founding BioSolutions, Dr. Mohamed “Hakeem” Hakim held key positions with several Research Sites as Administrator and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, he held senior positions with Bayview Behavioral Campus, San Clemente Hospital and California Pacific Medical Center.
Dr. Hakim holds certificates in several advanced courses including Certified Medical Compliance Officer from San Diego County Medical Association. Certificate in Clinical Trial Administration from University California San Diego, site Operations and SOPs from University of Rochester School of Medicine and How to Manage Site Financials from Clinical Research Site Training Institute.

PETER HANSON, MD
Orthopedic Surgeon, Stem Cells
Peter Hanson, MD – Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeon, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for Grossmont Hospital, the Board of Directors for Sharp Healthcare and Principal Investigator for BioSolutions Clinical Research Center.
He was voted a San Diego Magazine “Top Doctor”.
PATRICK ASTOURIAN, PA-C
Orthopedic
Patrick Astourian, PA-C – Physician Assistant with more than a decade of experience working in Orthopedics. He wrote the book on Ultrasound Guided Injections for Musculoskeletal injuries in addition to co-authoring a study on stem cell therapy.
He is currently president of the San Diego Society of Physician Assistants.
JARED A. BRUMMEL, D.O
Orthopedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy
Jared A. Brummel, D.O.– Board certified Orthopedic Surgeon; fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy , he is one of the physician of Graybill Medical Group and Principal Investigator for BioSolutions Clinical Research Center.
Dr. Brummel completed his residency at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital Orthopedic residency program, he was the Director or Orthopedics at West Georgia Hospital. He obtained his medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO), American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), and American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM)
THOMAS C. ADAMSON, III, MD
Rheumatology
Thomas C. Adamson, III, MD – practiced rheumatology at the Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego, California from 1982-2019, where he served as Rheumatology Division Chief for 20 years and the Director of Managed Care for 14 years. Dr. Adamson has received numerous academic honors and awards and directed over 90 clinical trials before becoming a Principal Investigator for BioSolutions Clinical Research Center. He personally administers all intra-articular injections for his patients and enjoys teaching injection techniques to other health care professionals.
RAKHESH GUTTIKONDA, DO
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Rakhesh Guttikonda, DO is a Board Certified Osteopathic Physician and Surgery. Holds certification in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS. He currently serves as Director of Remedi Plastic Surgery & MedSpa, Director of Coronado Cosmetic Surgery Center and Principal Investigator for BioSolutions Clinical Research Center.

SEAN C. SKELTON, DO is a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist. A recipient of Meritorious Service Medal from Naval Hospital of Pendleton and Navy Commendation Medal from Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan. He currently serves as Otolaryngologist with ENT Associates of San Diego , Group Surgeon at Camp Pendleton, and Principal Investigator for BioSolutions Clinical Research Center..

He is an Associate Clinical Professor at University California San Diego (UCSD)
JERRY FABRIKANT, DPM
Orthopedics and Podiatric Medicine
Jerry Fabrikant, MD – Board Certified by in Orthopedic and Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Fabrikant currently serves as Podiatrist at Grossmont Medical Center, Ramona Foot Clinic, and Principal Investigator for BioSolutions Clinical Research Center. He also served as Staff Podiatrist at San Diego State University- Student Health Center.
KAVEH BAGHERI, MD
Pulmonology and Internal Medicine
Dr. Kaveh Bagheri is Board certified in Pulmonology and Internal Medicine with over 30 years of clinical experience. Dr. Bagheri currently serves as Principal Investigator with BioSolutions Research, Physician with Pulmonary and Critical Care Practice and Chair of Critical Care Supervisory with Sharp Hospital. Dr. Bagheri holds the position of Medical Director of Grossmont Pulmonary Rehab.
